PAS Tak Akan Paksa Bukan Muslim Terima Undang-undang Islam - Hadi

Kepala Batas, Oct 1 - Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang stressed PAS will not force non-Muslims to accept the criminal law in Islamic jurisprudence as the party was not forcing them to accept Islam.

PAS president said the Islamic laws, especially hadd been dimomokkan Barisan Nasional (BN), especially Umno to give a negative impression of the law.

"Islamic Criminal Law dimomokkan Umno-led BN through the media, even men are now facing serious social problems and so on, the question of crime should have to return to the teachings of God.

"We tried to introduce Sharia criminal law, especially hudud and takzir but they purposely pick only hadd the exhibition of non-Muslims and Muslims fool," he said when opening the Congress beucap PAS 60 Years Celebration in Millennium Hall here.

Last week, Chief Minister of Kelantan Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat said that he would rather if DAP wants out of PR, if not agree with his position to enforce hudud and establish an Islamic state.

Previously, Nik Aziz said he will remain in its stand to uphold the law and the establishment of an Islamic state hudud despite fierce resistance from the associates.

He said, no one, not even the right to reject DAP hudud as long as all the people staying in the land of God and the law of Muslims want upright is because it is the law of God, not man.

Last Wednesday, the Pakatan Rakyat to take a firm position that hudud will not be part of the alliance together until all component parties to disclose the agreement and consensus.
